Over the last 30 days I participated in “The Book Marketing Strategy” hosted by D’Vorah Lanskey because I needed a plan to market my first book, “Igniting Mommy Energy” due out June 21st.
Boy, did I learn a lot!
The most important subject for me was creating a Virtual Book Tour. I am a mother of three children and a business owner so I don’t want to travel for a “real” book tour. A virtual one works well with my priorities.
This tour will be my way of sharing more about “Igniting Mommy Energy” and why it’s so important to own your feelings so that you can be the best Working Mom you can be!
I talk to clients about making brave work/life choices and believe allowing yourself to feel your feelings is the most courageous thing you can do. When this happens it means you’re willing to take action because you’ll bravely face any emotions that bubble up! This is when your Mommy Energy ignites and things become possible!
What is a Virtual Book Tour?
A Virtual Book Tour is when an author travels from blog to blog and writes about their new books topic.
Check out “The I.M.E. Virtual Book Tour”.
It’s a list that includes the blogs I’ll be visiting, the blog owner, and the date I’ll be visiting. While on the blog I’ll be replying back to comments and socializing on Facebook and Twitter about the tour. The goal of my Virtual Book Tour is to visit two blogs per week for the entire summer.
I can share now that the tour will kick off with Carin Kilby Clark from The Mommyhood Mentor. We will be chatting on June 17th at 9PM EST on Google+ Hangout On Air, which means our talk will be open to the world to listen to. Stay tune for more details!
On a side note for this tour, I’ll be on a local TV show, “Something to Talk About” with Linda McNamee on June 25th at 7PM EST. The show will be posted on YouTube and the link will be posted on the I.M.E. Virtual Book Tour Page.
If you are interested in joining me on my Virtual Book Tour, I invited you to sign up for “The Mommy Energy E-zine” to stay in the loop!
If you are interested in being a part of my tour and would like me to visit your blog, please email me at email@example.com.
I’ve learned much more than I’ve shared here and feel much more confident about telling the world about my book “Igniting Mommy Energy”. Thank you!! ♥♥♥
